Lisa wanted to give Kate a fun gift. She contacted me and set up an order for a cartoon for her with back ground.

She told me a little about Kate as well as sent me pictures of her.

 
First I did a pen and ink black and white drawing of Kate from the photos.  
I added the digital colors and filled out the face.  
I then added the background.
